October is 'Menopause Awareness Month' and we thought this would be a good opportunity to look at the subject of perimenopausal/menopausal women being diagnosed with ADHD.Did you know many women are first diagnosed with ADHD during perimenopause? Declining oestrogen can worsen symptoms like brain fog and overwhelm, unmasking lifelong struggles. Women's ADHD is often missed, so worsening focus and memory in your 40s/50s could lead to a long-awaited diagnosis.
