Online support groups
ADD-vance runs regular support groups which provide an opportunity for you to meet other local parents and discuss individual concerns with two specialist ADD-vance coaches. We welcome parents and carers who have a formal diagnosis for their child, as well as those who do not have a formal diagnosis but would like to learn more about neurodivergence.
We also provide two closed, Facebook groups where parents/carers of neurodivergent children can find support from other parents and carers living in Hertfordshire.

Our Facebook Groups
ADD-vance Facebook Group
The ADD-vance Facebook Group has grown quickly into a major source of support for many of our parents and carers.
The Group is a ‘closed group’ which means that nobody outside the group can see that you are a member or what you are saying or doing within the group. Membership is open to all neurodivergent adults, parents, carers and professionals.
Spectrum Girls
Spectrum Girls is a group aimed at supporting females and families of neurodivergent girls. Along with the Facebook group, there are coffee mornings, occasional low-key outings and we’re hoping to do more.
Like the main ADD-vance groups, Spectrum Girls is a closed group and membership is managed carefully to protect the confidentiality and standards of the group.
Both pages are actively moderated, all new members must confirm a couple of key facts and all posts are moderated to ensure that the groups confidentiality and standards are maintained.
