At ADD-vance we are passionate about supporting families. This is because we all live in a family with neurodivergent members. In our opinion, nobody understands living with additional needs more than the parents and carers who have walked the walk, not just talked the talk.
This is why all our trainers, coaches, helpline team and admin staff are parents or carers of neurodivergent children or young people. We know that sometimes we all just need a helping hand, whether that be a simple chat to another parent in the same position or something a bit more structured, like a few sessions with a professional and understanding coach. We offer a range of services throughout Hertfordshire aimed at helping parents and carers to understand and support these complex conditions.

Neurodiversity Support Hub
Every member of our helpline team is a parent or carer of a neurodivergent child. When you call/email us, you aren’t just speaking to an advisor, you are speaking to someone who truly understands.
Workshops & Courses
A range of workshops and courses for parents & carers to help build knowledge, navigate the SEND system and provide tools and strategies to help neurodivergent children thrive.
Online support groups
Regular support groups with the opportunity to meet other local parents and discuss individual concerns with two specialist coaches.
Services for Parents and Carers (no geographical restrictions apply)
Coaching
Coaching support for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people (up to age 25).
QbCheck (ADHD Screening)
Computer based screening provided by ADD-vance to accurately measure the core traits of ADHD.
EHCP/SEN Support Services
Direct referral to a Specialist Independent SEN Advisers who specialise in neurodivergence.
